Studio Update and Jimmie on Reverbnation

This weekend, Jimmie will once again be entering The Castle Recording studio at Priddis Music to get one step closer to concluding the recording of this EP that has been in production for nearly a year now. It has taken a bit longer than desired, but the end is near with this three song, full band project.

Jimmie will be sharing the producer role with his sound engineer, Eric Limburg as other artists will be brought in to contribute their talents to this yet to be named EP.

Zack Golden, an artist Jimmie has grown up around and looked up to most of their lives will be entering the studio on lead guitar. Zack played and sang backing vocals at Jimmie’s Black Tie Event gig earlier this year and played a role in the songwriting process of many of Jimmie’s songs. He appears on this project as courtesy of the band Kipling who themselves are currently in the studio and have been performing all over the Salt Lake City and Provo metros. Zack’s contributions to Kipling may or may not allow him to appear in future gigs with Jimmie. Find Kipling on facebook.

Sean Booth has been playing bass with Chesh since before the EP project began and has already been featured in the recording of Pieces to Home, the lead track off of this EP. He has been willing to stick with Jimmie to complete this project. Sean’s professionalism and work ethic on this project has been exceptional and Jimmie hopes to work with him in the future.

Lastly, Jimmie Chesh is now officially on Reverbnation. There, you can hear the featured track on the EP, Pieces to Home, as well as via Soundcloud.
